The Amber mutation in Grow a Garden multiplies a fruit's sell value by 10. You can apply it with the Amber Mutation Spray or get it from the Raptor pet. Amber can later turn into Old Amber and then Ancient Amber, which sell for more. A fruit worth 1,000 Sheckles sells for 10,000 as Amber.
What Is the Amber Mutation in Grow a Garden
Amber is a mutation that raises the sell value of a fruit in Grow a Garden, the Roblox farming game. You do not wait for weather to get it. You apply it with a craftable spray, or a Raptor pet gives it to a fruit when you harvest. Amber can then mature into Old Amber and Ancient Amber, which are worth more.
Do not mix it up with the Ambercomb crop. That is a plant with its own page at Ambercomb. Every other mutation is listed on the Mutations hub.

Amber Mutation Multiplier (10x): What the Sources Say
The Amber mutation multiplier is 10×. Seven outside sources list 10×. The GAGdata mutation database still holds an older entry for Amber, and that figure is out of date. The table shows it so the gap is visible.

How to Get the Amber Mutation
You get the Amber mutation two ways. Craft an Amber Mutation Spray and use it on a fruit, or own a Raptor pet and harvest. The spray is the sure route. The Raptor route is a low chance on each harvest.
Amber Mutation Spray
- Collect the parts. You need 1 Cleaning Spray charge, 1 Dinosaur Egg and 1,000,000 Sheckles.
- Craft the spray. Use the crafting station beside the Prehistoric quest stand in the middle of the garden. The craft takes one hour.
- Spray a fruit. The Amber Mutation Spray has one charge. Use it on a fruit you want to turn into Amber.
- Leave it on the plant. Amber can mature into Old Amber, so do not harvest the fruit if you want the next stage.
Sources describe the spray as a Prehistoric event craft. None of them says whether it can still be crafted today. Spray availability now: ⚠️ PENDING.
Raptor Pet
A Raptor hatches from a Dinosaur Egg. Its Clever Claws trait can give a harvested fruit the Amber mutation. Sources give different rates, so both rates are pending. Pet mutations in general are covered in the pet mutations guide.

Raptor egg chance and harvest chance: ⚠️ PENDING. One guide, esports.gg, says Amber from the Raptor is applied after harvest, so it cannot mature in your garden. Only one source says this: ⚠️ PENDING.
Old Amber and Ancient Amber
Amber changes over time on the plant. After about 24 hours it becomes Old Amber. Old Amber later becomes Ancient Amber, which sources list at 50×.

Amber stacks with other mutations. The in-game formula comes from the mutation stacking guide: Total = Base × Variant × [1 + sum of mutations − N], where N is the number of mutations in the sum. The community shorthand multiplies every mutation instead.

The Ancient Amber multiplier is 50x, and six outside sources agree. It is the third stage after Amber and Old Amber. Sources disagree on how long the step takes, and one guide says the time is unknown, so GAGdata shows the timing as pending.
The Amber mutation stacks with other mutations. In the in-game form, a Rainbow fruit with Amber is worth 500 times base, and adding Shocked makes 5,450 times base. The community shorthand multiplies instead and gives 50,000. The stacking guide explains both forms.
The Amber mutation is worth keeping when you get it. At 10x it sells for ten times base, well above Pollinated at 3x. It sits below Gold at 20x and far below Sundried at 85x. Ancient Amber at 50x is the stage that makes it stand out.
No outside source states a rarity for Amber. The GAGdata database and topical map list Rare, but they also list an older multiplier and an Amber Soil route that no source confirms. The 10x multiplier is not in dispute. GAGdata shows rarity and tier as pending.
