How to Read the Pet Database Table
The Grow a Garden pet database contains all 314 pets currently available in the game, organized by rarity tier and sortable by trade value, weight, or XP rate. All values are recorded by Jordan Lee from direct in-game testing within 12 hours of each Saturday patch, ensuring 100% accuracy against the live game.
Each column in the database provides a specific data point. Base Trade Value is the minimum Sheckle equivalent a player should expect when trading that pet type — a pet's base trade value is the minimum Sheckle equivalent a player should expect when trading that pet type, before weight multipliers are applied. XP/Hour shows the passive XP your pet earns when assigned to a crop plot. Hatch Weight is the starting weight at hatching. Huge / Titanic / Godly thresholds show the weight (kg) your pet must reach to achieve each classification.
Using Search & Filters
Use the search bar to find any specific pet by name instantly. The rarity filter tabs let you view only pets of a specific tier — useful for traders looking at Legendary, Divine, or Mythical pets specifically. Click any sortable column header to reorder the table by that attribute. All filtering and sorting happens client-side with no page reload or URL changes.
Use the Pet Weight Calculator to calculate your specific pet's value based on its exact age and weight. The calculator applies the weight multiplier to the base value and shows whether your pet qualifies for Huge, Titanic, or Godly classification.

Pet Rarity Tiers Explained
Grow a Garden pets are organized into eight rarity tiers, each determining the base trade value range, XP generation rate, and probability of achieving Huge, Titanic, or Godly weight classification. Understanding the rarity system is essential for making informed trade decisions and building an effective pet farming strategy.
Common— ~70 pets · 30–100 Sheckles · 80–130 XP/hr
Common pets are the most frequently hatched pets in Grow a Garden. They generate modest XP per hour but serve as excellent passive XP sources for beginners. Their base trade value is low, making them primarily useful as XP sources rather than trade commodities.
Example pets: Cat (a Common-tier pet), Dog (Common), Rabbit (Common) · Hatch probability: Very High
Uncommon— ~80 pets · 150–600 Sheckles · 180–310 XP/hr
Uncommon pets offer a meaningful step up in XP generation compared to Common-tier pets. The Bee pet, hatched from the Bee Egg, is a notable Uncommon pet valued for its Pollination ability that activates at Age 50.
Example pets: Hedgehog (Uncommon), Fox (Uncommon), Bee (hatched from Bee Egg) · Hatch probability: High
Rare— ~60 pets · 1,000–2,500 Sheckles · 390–470 XP/hr
Rare pets represent the first tier where trade value becomes meaningful. The Kiwi pet in Grow a Garden, hatched from Rare Eggs, is highly sought after for its Fruit Boost ability. Rare pets reach higher age milestones faster than lower tiers, making Huge and Titanic classification more attainable.
Example pets: Kiwi (Rare, from Rare Egg), Axolotl (Rare), Penguin (Rare) · Hatch probability: Moderate
Epic— ~50 pets · 7,000–14,000 Sheckles · 790–930 XP/hr
Epic pets are the first tier that serious traders actively seek. Their XP per hour rates enable faster age progression, making Huge classification achievable within a moderate play session. The Tiger pet in Grow a Garden is particularly valued for its Predator Instinct ability at Age 50.
Example pets: Panda (Epic), Wolf (Epic), Tiger (Epic) · Hatch probability: Low
Legendary— ~30 pets · 60,000–95,000 Sheckles · 1,800–2,400 XP/hr
Legendary pets are premium trade assets in Grow a Garden. The Dragon and Phoenix pets command consistent high trade values and generate XP at rates that make Huge and Titanic classifications significantly easier to achieve. Legendary pets are the most commonly traded high-value pets in the community market.
Example pets: Dragon (a Legendary-tier pet in Grow a Garden), Phoenix (Legendary), Unicorn (Legendary) · Hatch probability: Very Low
Divine— ~15 pets · 380,000–520,000 Sheckles · 4,900–6,100 XP/hr
Divine pets are rare enough that most players never hatch one directly. Their exceptional XP generation rates make Titanic and even Godly classification achievable for experienced players with dedicated farming setups. Divine pet trades are major community events.
Example pets: Celestial Fox (Divine), Storm Eagle (Divine), Void Serpent (Divine) · Hatch probability: Extremely Low
Mythical— ~8 pets · 1.4M–2.1M Sheckles · 11,500–14,500 XP/hr
Mythical pets are the rarest non-Prismatic pets in Grow a Garden. Their XP generation rates are so high that Godly classification, normally reserved for exceptional cases, becomes achievable with sustained play. Mythical pets are held rather than traded in most cases, serving as long-term investment assets.
Example pets: Shadow Dragon (Mythical), Crystal Phoenix (Mythical), Storm Titan (Mythical) · Hatch probability: Near Impossible
Prismatic— ~6 pets (incl. Fairy) · 4.5M–10M+ Sheckles · 24,000–50,000 XP/hr
Prismatic pets are the highest-value naturally hatchable pets in Grow a Garden. The Fairy pet (S-Tier Godly-class) leads this tier and is the most sought-after pet in the entire game. Higher rarity pets in Grow a Garden generate significantly more XP per hour, allowing faster age progression and earlier access to Huge and Titanic weight classifications.
Example pets: Fairy (S-Tier Godly-class, the rarest pet), Cosmos Dragon (Prismatic), Rainbow Unicorn (Prismatic) · Hatch probability: Exceptionally Rare

Pet Weight Classifications — Huge, Titanic & Godly
Pet weight classifications in Grow a Garden — Huge, Titanic, and Godly — are determined by where a pet's weight percentile falls within its species' weight distribution. A pet's weight in Grow a Garden directly determines its rarity classification — pets in the top 10% of weight for their species achieve Huge classification, the top 5% reach Titanic, and the top 1% are classified as Godly.
What is Huge Classification?
Huge classification in Grow a Garden represents the top 10% of weight for a given pet species. A pet achieves Huge classification once its weight reaches the Huge threshold (kg) listed in the database. Huge classification is achievable through consistent XP farming and reaching higher age milestones. A Huge pet commands a meaningful trade value premium over a standard pet of the same species — typically 1.5x to 3x the base trade value.
What is Titanic Classification?
Titanic classification (top 5%) requires sustained high-XP environments and age progression beyond the Huge threshold. Getting Titanic pets in Grow a Garden requires consistently farming XP through crop assignments, using XP-boosting abilities from helper pets, and allowing the pet to age over many play sessions. A Titanic pet typically trades for 3x to 8x the base trade value, making it a significant asset.
How to Get Titanic Pets in Grow a Garden — 4 Steps
Reach Huge Classification First
Titanic classification requires passing through the Huge threshold (top 10%) first. Focus on accumulating XP consistently in high-mutation-crop environments until your pet's weight crosses the Huge threshold shown in the database.
Sustain XP Farming in Epic+ Crop Environments
After reaching Huge, continue farming XP without interruption. Place your pet on plots with Epic or higher crops that have active mutations running. The compounding effect of high-tier mutations dramatically accelerates weight gain beyond the Huge threshold.
Unlock the Age 50 Mutation Ability
Reaching Age 50 unlocks your pet's mutation ability, which applies a value multiplier to assigned crops. This both increases the crop income and further accelerates XP gain, making the Titanic threshold more accessible with continued play.
Monitor Weight Against the Titanic Threshold
Use the Pet Weight Calculator to compare your pet's current weight against its species-specific Titanic threshold (kg) from the table below. Once your pet's weight equals or exceeds the Titanic value, it achieves Titanic classification and qualifies for the 3x–8x trade value premium.
What is Godly Classification?
Godly classification (top 1%) is the rarest weight tier in Grow a Garden. Only a handful of pets can realistically achieve Godly classification — the Fairy pet in Grow a Garden (S-Tier) is the prime example, and among the few pets engineered around reaching this tier. A Godly pet commands the highest possible trade premiums, often 10x to 50x the base trade value depending on rarity and community demand.
How Pet Age Increases Weight
As a pet gains XP and increases in age, its weight grows according to a species-specific growth formula. The higher the age, the heavier the pet, and the more likely it is to achieve Huge, Titanic, or Godly classification. To get bigger pets in Grow a Garden, follow these three steps:
Maximize XP Gain
Assign your pet to an active crop plot. Pets earn XP passively whenever crops are growing. The higher the crop mutation value, the faster the XP generation. Plots with Shocked or Celestial-mutated crops yield the highest XP rates.
Keep Pets in High-Mutation-Crop Environments
High-tier mutations on nearby crops accelerate pet XP gain significantly. Position your pet on plots where Rare, Epic, or higher-tier crops are planted with at least one active mutation for the fastest weight progression.
Age the Pet Over Time
Weight accumulates gradually with age. There are no shortcuts — consistent play sessions with your pet assigned to an active garden plot are the most reliable path to Huge, Titanic, or Godly classification.

Pet Values & Trade Reference Guide
The trade value of a pet in Grow a Garden is determined by three factors: its base rarity value, its weight classification multiplier, and current market demand within the community. Understanding each factor allows you to assess whether a trade is fair before committing.
How Pet Values Are Calculated
The trade value formula for pets in Grow a Garden follows the same multiplier logic as crop values:
Base Value is the rarity-tier trade floor in Sheckles. Weight Classification Multiplier ranges from 1x (Standard) to 50x+ (Godly) depending on the pet's weight percentile. Community demand adds an additional premium above the formula output for high-tier pets, particularly Prismatic and event-exclusive pets.
How to Sell and Trade Pets in Grow a Garden
To trade pets in Grow a Garden, open the in-game trading interface and select your pet alongside the items you want in return. There is no direct NPC sell mechanic for pets — all pet transactions occur via the player-to-player trading system. To maximize your sell price, ensure your pet has at least Huge classification before listing it for trade, as heavier pets command significantly higher values in the community market.
Before any significant pet trade, verify the current community rate using the Trade Calculator to compare values side by side and determine whether a trade is a Win, Fair, or Loss.

Growth Formulas & Weight Progression
Each pet species in Grow a Garden has a unique weight growth formula that determines how much weight the pet gains per age level. Understanding this formula helps players predict when their pet will cross Huge, Titanic, or Godly thresholds and plan their farming sessions accordingly.
The Pet Weight Growth Formula
In this formula, baseWeight is the pet's hatch weight (starting weight when first hatched from an egg), age is the pet's current age level, and speciesGrowthRate is a species-specific constant that varies significantly between rarity tiers. Higher-rarity pets have a greater growth rate, which is why Legendary and above pets can reach Godly classification while Common pets typically cannot.
How to Age Pets in Grow a Garden
Pets age in Grow a Garden by accumulating XP, which is earned by keeping them active in your garden. The fastest way to age pets is to ensure they are always assigned to a plot in a high-mutation-crop environment. XP accumulates passively — the more active your garden, the faster your pet ages. Reaching higher ages increases the pet's weight and eventually unlocks mutation abilities at Age 50, which apply a value multiplier to crops they are assigned to. This is the most significant milestone in pet development.
🏆 Age 50 Milestone: At Age 50, pets unlock their mutation ability — a passive farming bonus that applies a value multiplier to crops they are assigned to. This is the single most impactful milestone in pet development, as it transforms a passive XP source into an active crop-value multiplier.
XP Rates Per Species — Time-to-Age Estimates
Estimated time to reach key age milestones for five representative pets, based on verified XP/hour rates under optimal farming conditions:

Rare & Special Pets — Godly Class Guide
A small number of pets in Grow a Garden are capable of reaching Godly weight classification under the right conditions. These pets represent the highest tier of the pet system and command premium trade values that dwarf all other pet categories.
Fairy — S-Tier Godly-Class Pet
The Fairy pet (S-Tier, Godly-class) is the most sought-after pet in Grow a Garden. Its exceptional XP generation rate of 50,000 XP/hour and capacity for Godly weight classification make it the top-ranked pet in the game. The Fairy's base trade value of 10,000,000 Sheckles (pre-weight-multiplier) is the highest of any pet in the database, and at Godly classification, community trade values exceed 500 million Sheckles in competitive markets.
The Fairy pet in Grow a Garden is obtained by hatching Prismatic Eggs — with an extremely low probability per hatch.
Dragon — Legendary Tier
The Dragon (a Legendary-tier pet in Grow a Garden) generates 2,000 XP/hour and has a base trade value of 75,000 Sheckles. Its Fire Breath ability unlocked at Age 50 applies a 150% value multiplier to assigned crops. The Dragon's Godly threshold of 297 kg is achievable with dedicated play, making it one of the more accessible Godly-classification paths for Legendary-tier collectors.
Phoenix — Legendary Tier
The Phoenix (a Legendary-tier pet in Grow a Garden) is the highest-value Legendary pet, with 2,200 XP/hour and a base trade value of 85,000 Sheckles. Its Rebirth Flame ability at Age 50 provides a 165% crop value multiplier. The Phoenix hatches from Legendary Eggs and has a Godly threshold of 327 kg.
How to Obtain Rare Pets — Including Bee Egg & Kiwi
Obtaining rare pets in Grow a Garden depends on the type of egg used. The Bee Egg (which hatches the Bee pet) is a special Uncommon egg obtained through pollination events in the game. The Kiwi pet in Grow a Garden hatches from standard Rare Eggs at a low probability. Higher-rarity pets require their corresponding egg tier.
How to Obtain Godly Classification Pets — 4 Steps
Obtain a High-Rarity Pet (Divine or Above)
Godly classification is only realistically achievable by Divine, Mythical, or Prismatic-tier pets due to their high species growth rates. Focus on hatching Divine Eggs or higher as your starting point.

Place your pet on a plot where Epic or higher crops with active mutations are growing. The XP generation multiplier from high-tier crops dramatically accelerates age progression toward Godly weight.
Reach Age 50 to Unlock Mutation Ability
Prioritize reaching Age 50, which unlocks the pet's mutation ability. This ability then further multiplies the XP-generating value of your assigned crops, creating a compound acceleration effect.
Continue Aging Beyond Age 50 Toward Godly Threshold
With the mutation ability active, continue aging your pet. Track your pet's current weight against the Godly threshold (kg) shown in the database table. Use the Pet Weight Calculator to monitor progress and confirm when Godly classification is achieved.
FAQ — Grow a Garden Pet Values
Answers to the most common questions about Grow a Garden pet values, weight classifications, aging mechanics, and the pet trading system — sourced from direct in-game testing by Jordan Lee.
What are pet values in Grow a Garden?
Pet values in Grow a Garden represent the trade worth of each pet, measured in Sheckles or in-game items of equivalent worth. A pet's value is determined by its rarity tier, weight classification (Huge, Titanic, or Godly), and current community demand. Higher rarity and heavier weight directly increase a pet's trade value.
How do I get bigger pets in Grow a Garden?
To get bigger pets in Grow a Garden, maximize your pet's XP gain by keeping it assigned to crop plots with active growth. As a pet accumulates XP its age increases, and higher age produces greater weight. Pets in high-mutation-crop environments gain XP faster, accelerating the path to Huge, Titanic, or Godly classification.
How do I get Titanic pets in Grow a Garden?
Titanic pets in Grow a Garden are those whose weight reaches the top 5% threshold for their species. Achieve this by consistently farming XP through crop assignments, using XP-boosting abilities from helper pets, and allowing the pet to age over many play sessions. The Pet Weight Calculator shows each pet's exact Titanic weight threshold.
What is the most valuable pet in Grow a Garden?
The Fairy pet is currently the most valuable pet in Grow a Garden. As an S-Tier Godly-class pet, the Fairy generates exceptional XP, provides powerful farming bonuses, and commands premium trade values in the community market. Divine and Mythical tier pets also rank among the most valuable, with Prismatic pets being the rarest.
How do you age pets in Grow a Garden?
Pets age in Grow a Garden by accumulating XP. XP is earned passively when pets are assigned to crop plots. The more active your garden, the faster your pet gains XP and increases in age. Reaching higher ages increases the pet's weight and eventually unlocks mutation abilities at Age 50, which provide farming bonuses.
How do you trade pets in Grow a Garden?
To trade pets in Grow a Garden, open the in-game trading interface and select your pet and the items you want in return. Before trading, check the pet's weight classification and current community value to ensure a fair exchange. Use the Trade Calculator on this site to compare values and determine whether a trade is a Win, Fair, or Loss.
How do I sell pets in Grow a Garden?
Pets can be sold in Grow a Garden through the in-game trading system by offering them to other players for Sheckles or items. There is no direct NPC sell option for pets. To maximize sell price, ensure your pet has a Huge or better weight classification before trading, as heavier pets command significantly higher values.
How do I increase pet slots in Grow a Garden?
Pet slots in Grow a Garden can be increased by expanding your farm. Additional farm plots allow more pets to be assigned simultaneously. Certain premium upgrades and game passes also provide extra pet slots. More active pet slots means faster XP generation across your collection, speeding up age and weight progression for all assigned pets.
