With over 1,500 hours logged in Grow a Garden on Roblox, Alex tests every value directly in-game before publishing it. After each Saturday patch, he loads the game, checks every affected crop, mutation, and pet entry against the updated data, and pushes verified values to the site — typically within 12 hours of the patch going live.

Saturday Patch Protocol

After each weekly patch, all affected JSON data files are updated within 12 hours. The calculator reflects current game values, not last week's.

Trading & Economy

Crop base values are recorded by harvesting each crop without any mutations applied and reading the Sheckle output directly from the game's sell confirmation screen.

Mutation multipliers are verified by applying a single mutation to a known base-value crop, harvesting, and dividing the output by the base value. This eliminates estimation and confirms the exact multiplier.

Pet weight thresholds are tested by feeding pets incrementally and recording the exact weight at which the Huge, Titanic, and Godly classifications trigger.

Saturday patch updates: after each weekly patch, all affected entries are re-verified using the same method. Changed values are updated within 12 hours; unchanged values are marked as confirmed for that patch date.
