⛺ Summer Camp Parts 2 & 3 live — Ember (pet) confirmed S-tier (+32%), Sylvan ×35 confirmed. June 22, 2026

Summer Camp update (Parts 2 & 3): Ember (pet mutation) is now confirmed S-tier at +32% — the best pet mutation available, beating Venom and Everchanted (both +30%). It is currently sourced only from the Fire Wisp pet (Campfire Egg). Sylvan ×35 is confirmed (A/S placement; Moss Wyvern source). Still provisional / TBC: Inferno (pet mutation) from the new Inferno Ritual (Part 3), Ember (crop mutation), and Spotty (community estimates 50–135×, no confirmed number) — no final tier is assigned to these until multipliers are verified. Retained confirmed multipliers: Honeygem 33× (A-tier), Jellygem 25× (B-tier).

Mutation Tier List — Best Mutations Ranked by Value [2026]

Grow a Garden Mutation Tier List — showing all mutations ranked from S-tier Abyssal 240x and Voidtouched 135x through C-tier Bloom 5x

Abyssal tops the Grow a Garden mutation tier list at 240x multiplier — the highest in the game as of April 2026. S-Tier mutations (Abyssal 240x, Voidtouched 135x, Celestial 120x) deliver 12–24× more Sheckles than A-Tier mutations when stacked. Use this tier list to prioritise which mutation to farm, trade for, or combine first.

Definitions on this page

Mutation
A random status effect applied to a harvested crop that multiplies its base Sheckle value by a fixed amount.
Tier List
A ranked classification system grouping mutations into S/A/B/C/D tiers by their Sheckle multiplier value.
Sheckles

What is a Grow a Garden Mutation Tier List?

A mutation tier list in Grow a Garden ranks all mutations by their Sheckle multiplier value — from S-Tier (the highest, 120x and above) to D-Tier (below 5x). The tier system exists because mutations vary dramatically in impact: a single S-Tier mutation (Abyssal, 240x) produces 48 times more output than a C-Tier mutation (Bloom, 5x) on the same crop.

Tier lists are also used as a common language in Grow a Garden trading — when a player says they have an "A-Tier crop", it means the crop carries a mutation with a 50–119x multiplier. Understanding the tiers helps you evaluate trade offers, plan which mutations to farm during Blood Moon events, and decide which combinations to stack first.

S7 mutations

120x and above

A6 mutations

50x – 119x

B9 mutations

20x – 49x

C7 mutations

5x – 19x

DNone known

Below 5x

How tier boundaries are determined: Tier thresholds are set by verified in-game multiplier data, not by community votes. S-Tier (120x+) represents mutations that are 10× or more valuable than a standard unharvested crop. A-Tier (50–119x) covers the mid-Legendary range. B-Tier (20–49x) covers Epic-rarity mutations with strong stacking potential. C-Tier (5–19x) covers Rare and Uncommon mutations useful for entry-level stacking. D-Tier (below 5x) includes mutations not yet confirmed in the current game version.

🔥 April 4, 2026 — Six New Mutations

Smoldering (S-tier, First Composite) — requires Ash + Haze + Burnt + Flaming simultaneously on one crop, applied by Rainbow Cerberus. Tier reflects pipeline complexity, not raw multiplier (TBD).
Choc (D-tier, 2×) — Easter Event 2026, applied via Chocolate Sprinkler gear. D-tier raw; S-tier strategic value for Choc Coin economy.
Plasma (C-tier, 5×) — Easter Event 2026, Marshmallow Lamb pet. Community controversy: 9% Golden Egg for only 5× multiplier.
Gummy, Ash, Haze (D-tier TBD) — Applied by Gummy Bear and Hazehound pets (Season 4). Gummy expected C–D tier; Ash & Haze critical for Smoldering pipeline.

⛺ June 22, 2026 — Summer Camp Mutations

Ember (pet mutation) (S-tier, +32% — CONFIRMED) — the best pet mutation in the game, beating Venom and Everchanted (both +30%). Currently sourced only from the Fire Wisp pet (Campfire Egg).
Sylvan (×35 — CONFIRMED, A/S placement) — sourced from the Moss Wyvern (Season 5 L47 reward, trade-only after June 27, 2026).
Inferno (pet mutation) (TBC / provisional — no final tier) — introduced with the Inferno Ritual in Summer Camp Part 3 (June 20). Multiplier not yet confirmed. Note: this is the pet mutation route, not an “Infernal” crop ×180.
Ember (crop mutation) (TBC / provisional — no final tier) — separate from the Ember pet mutation; multiplier not yet confirmed.
Spotty (TBC / provisional — no final tier) — community estimates range 50–135×, but no confirmed number exists yet; final placement pending verification.

May 9, 2026 — Bizzy Bees 2026 Update: New Mutations Added

Pollinated — 3× D-tier (Common) — applied during Swarm Events when bee pets are active.  HoneyGlazed — 5× C-tier (Uncommon) — obtained via Bear Bee pet or Honey Sprinkler gear. Both mutations are now placed in the tier list at their confirmed in-game multipliers.

S

S-Tier Mutations — 120x and above

7 mutations in this tier

S-Tier mutations are the most powerful in Grow a Garden — all have multipliers of 120x or above. Landing an S-Tier mutation on a high base-value crop (Dragonfruit, Starfruit, Moonflower) produces enough Sheckles to fund dozens of mid-tier equipment upgrades. The Voidtouched mutation (135x) sits just below Abyssal and is the highest single-source mutation obtainable without combination. S-Tier mutations are stackable with each other and with A-Tier mutations for the highest combined outputs in the game. The new S+S benchmark is Abyssal × Celestial = 28,800x.

S

Abyssal

LegendaryCosmic✓ Stackable
240x
multiplier

Highest-value mutation in Grow a Garden at 240x — a combination mutation requiring both Eclipsed and Voidtouched mutations active on the same crop simultaneously. Added in the March 7, 2026 Harvest Party patch. At 240x, one Abyssal crop equals 240 unharvested base crops in Sheckle value.

Dragonfruit (850) × 240x = 204,000 Sheckles
S

Voidtouched

LegendaryCosmic✓ Stackable
135x
multiplier

Second-highest single mutation in Grow a Garden at 135x. Triggered exclusively during Black Hole weather events. Drops from Divine-tier and above crops. Voidtouched is also the base requirement for the Abyssal combination mutation (240x).

Dragonfruit (850) × 135x = 114,750 Sheckles
S

Disco

LegendaryNature✓ Stackable
125x
multiplier

Prismatic multicolour visual effect. 125x multiplier makes Disco the second-highest mutation in the game. Drops from Legendary+ crops during specific server events.

Dragonfruit (850) × 125x = 106,250 Sheckles
S

Spotty

EventPet-Granted✓ Stackable
0x
multiplier

S-tier (provisional) — Multiplier TBC. Community-pending since May 24, 2026; no official value published. Applied EXCLUSIVELY by Black Spotty Dragon (Prismatic rarity, 100% from Black Spotty Egg). Black Spotty Dragon strikes 5–6 random fruits every ~20 minutes with the Spotty mutation. Provisionally S-tier because: (1) supply is permanently capped — Black Spotty Egg was event-exclusive to Bizzy Bees 2026, event ended June 6, 2026; (2) the sole source is a Prismatic-rarity pet. Update tier when multiplier is officially confirmed.

Dragonfruit (850) × 0x = 0 Sheckles
S

Celestial

LegendaryCosmic✓ Stackable
120x
multiplier

Highest standard drop-based mutation in Grow a Garden — standard meaning it drops via normal farming without needing a special weather event (unlike Blood Moon or Solar Eclipse event-specific mutations). Star-particle visual. Drops from Legendary+ crops during clear weather. Celestial (120x) stacked with Voidtouched (135x) produces 16,200x combined (135 × 120 = 16,200).

Dragonfruit (850) × 120x = 102,000 Sheckles
S

Smoldering

DivineComposite✓ Stackable
0x
multiplier

First composite mutation in Grow a Garden history. Requires Ash + Haze + Burnt + Flaming simultaneously on one crop. Applied exclusively by Rainbow Cerberus (Divine, Season 4 Level 47) every 36:26 (standard) / 29:46 (Rainbow). On sell: 6.12%/8.12% chance random mutation spreads to another fruit; 3.35%/4.35% chance per activation to level a random pet. Multiplier TBD — S-tier ranking reflects pipeline complexity and mutation-spread mechanic value, not raw multiplier.

EventVariant-Upgrade✓ Stackable
0x
multiplier

Variant-upgrade mutation exclusive to Easter Part 2 event. Source: Orchid Zone ability (Orchid Mantis pet) ONLY. Effect: converts crops to Gold variant (20× base). Gold + Floral converts to Rainbow variant (50×). Enables passive variant chain progression — NOT a traditional multiplier. Own multiplier TBD. Early market price TBD. S-tier ranking reflects sustained farming value from automatic variant upgrades. First Grow a Garden mutation to enable variant conversions.

A

A-Tier Mutations — 50x – 119x

6 mutations in this tier

A-Tier mutations (50x–119x) offer the best balance of value and obtainability in Grow a Garden. Shocked (100x) and Rainbow (50x) are the trading benchmarks — most high-end trades in the community are denominated in "Shocked crops" or "Rainbow Shocked stacks." Eternal (110x) is rarer than Shocked but approaches S-Tier value. A-Tier mutations stack with each other and with S-Tier mutations: Rainbow × Shocked = 5,000x. See the full Shocked mutation guide for multiplier verification, best crops, and stacking combos.

33x
multiplier

33× confirmed multiplier — Part 2 Discord patch notes (May 16, 2026). Applied exclusively by King Bee (Divine, 1,200 Royal Jelly / 819 Robux). King Bee's Honey Gem passive selects up to 50 Pollinated fruits per ~10-minute cycle. IMPORTANT: Honeygem (33×) is a SEPARATE mutation from Honeyglazed (5×) — do not confuse them. Voidtouched (135×) + Honeygem (33×) = 4,455× combined — the highest confirmed 2-mutation combo involving event mutations as of June 2026.

B

B-Tier Mutations — 20x – 49x

9 mutations in this tier

B-Tier mutations (20x–49x) are Epic-rarity and form the mid-game foundation of strong Grow a Garden strategies. They are obtainable from Epic+ crops without requiring Blood Moon events, making them reliable farming targets. The Gold mutation (25x) is the most traded B-Tier mutation thanks to its economic category bonus. Most B-Tier mutations are stackable — pairing Moonlit (40x) with Shocked (100x) yields a 4,000x combination, approaching A×A efficiency.

B

Moonlit

D

D-Tier Mutations — Below 5x Multiplier

1 confirmed D-Tier mutation: Pollinated (×3, organic, event-only)

D-Tier mutations are defined as any mutation with a multiplier below 5x.Pollinated (3× multiplier, Common, organic) is the confirmed D-Tier mutation as of May 9, 2026 (Bizzy Bees 2026 event). Pollinated is exclusively available during Swarm Events within the Honey Garden — it is an event-only, organic mutation that cannot be obtained outside of active Bizzy Bee events.

D-Tier is reserved for mutations below 5× multiplier. Pollinated (3×) belongs here despite its organic / event-only status — raw multiplier drives tier placement. Compare: HoneyGlazed (5×, C-Tier) is the upgraded version, exclusively from Bear Bee pet or Honey Sprinkler gear. A player offering a "D-Tier Pollinated crop" holds a 3× base-value item. Last checked: 2026-06-22.

How to Use the Tier List: Stacking Strategy

4-Step Guide to Maximising Mutation Output

  1. 1

    Identify your crop's base rarity

Check your crop's rarity tier (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Divine). Higher rarity crops have higher base Sheckle values and unlock rarer mutation drops. Abyssal (S-Tier 240x) requires both Eclipsed and Voidtouched mutations active simultaneously — confirm crop rarity and target mutations before planning your stack.

  2. 2

Choose the right mutation tier for your crop

Match your farming goals to the tier list. For maximum output: target S-Tier (120x+) if you have Divine+ crops and can farm Blood Moon events. Target A-Tier (50–119x) for Legendary crops during regular sessions. Use B-Tier (20–49x) for mid-game Epic crops. C-Tier mutations are always worth collecting to stack on any crop.

  3. 3

    Check stacking compatibility

Before combining two mutations, verify they are stackable. S-Tier and A-Tier Cosmic/Elemental mutations are generally compatible. C-Tier mutations Glossy and Bloom are non-stackable — they cannot be combined with other mutations. Use the reference table on this page to check the Stackable column before attempting a stack.

  4. 4

    Calculate total Sheckle output

Use the formula: Final Value = Base Crop Value × Mutation 1 × Mutation 2 × Weight. Example: Dragonfruit (850 base) with Abyssal (240x) and Celestial (120x) = 850 × 240 × 120 = 24,480,000 Sheckles (before weight). Use the Grow a Garden Mutation Calculator at gagdata.com/calculators for automatic calculation.

Mutation Tier List — Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about the Grow a Garden mutation tier list, multipliers, and tier thresholds.

What is the best mutation in Grow a Garden?

Abyssal is the best mutation in Grow a Garden at 240x multiplier — the highest in the game as of March 2026. Abyssal is a combination mutation requiring both Eclipsed and Voidtouched active on the same crop simultaneously. Voidtouched (135x) is the second-highest single mutation, followed by Disco (125x) and Celestial (120x). On a high-value crop like Dragonfruit (850 base Sheckles), Abyssal alone produces 204,000 Sheckles before weight.

What tier is Shocked mutation in Grow a Garden?

Shocked is A-Tier in the Grow a Garden mutation tier list, with a 100x Elemental multiplier. It sits below the S-Tier threshold (120x+) but above B-Tier (20–49x). Shocked is one of the most valuable A-Tier mutations because of its universal stacking compatibility with Abyssal (240x), Celestial (120x), Voidtouched (135x), and Rainbow (50x), making it the most tradeable mutation in the game.

What is the mutation tier list in Grow a Garden?

The Grow a Garden mutation tier list ranks all known mutations by their Sheckle multiplier value: S-Tier (120x+) includes Abyssal 240x, Voidtouched 135x, Disco 125x, and Celestial 120x. A-Tier (50–119x) includes Eternal 110x, Shocked 100x, Sundried 85x (Heat Wave exclusive), and Rainbow 50x. B-Tier (20–49x) includes Moonlit 40x, Starlit 35x, Frozen 30x, and Gold 20x. C-Tier (5–19x) includes Radioactive 15x, Glossy 10x, and Bloom 5x.

Is Rainbow mutation S-tier or A-tier in Grow a Garden?

Rainbow mutation is A-Tier in Grow a Garden with a 50x Nature multiplier. The S-Tier threshold is 120x and above — Rainbow at 50x falls below this cutoff. However, Rainbow is one of the most valuable A-Tier mutations because it stacks multiplicatively with Shocked (100x) for a 5,000x combined multiplier, which is the benchmark combo for Grow a Garden trading.

What multiplier does Celestial mutation have in Grow a Garden?

Celestial mutation in Grow a Garden has a 120x Cosmic-category multiplier, making it S-Tier in the mutation tier list. It is the highest standard (non-event) mutation in the game and drops as a rare reward from harvesting Legendary-tier and above crops during clear weather conditions. Celestial stacked with Voidtouched (135x) produces a 16,200x combined multiplier.

How do I use the mutation tier list to decide which mutations to farm?

Use the tier list to prioritise farming efficiency: target S-Tier mutations (Voidtouched, Celestial) only if you have Divine+ crops and can farm during Blood Moon events. A-Tier mutations (Shocked, Rainbow) offer the best risk-to-reward for most players — high multipliers with more frequent drop rates on Legendary crops. B-Tier mutations (Moonlit, Gold) are best for early-game progress. Never discard C-Tier mutations — stack them with higher-tier mutations for free additional output.

Can you stack two S-tier mutations in Grow a Garden?

Yes — two S-Tier mutations can be stacked in Grow a Garden. Voidtouched (135x) and Celestial (120x) stacked together produce a 16,200x combined multiplier, the highest achievable combination. Both are S-Tier, Cosmic-category mutations with stacking compatibility. The stacking formula is multiplicative: 135 × 120 = 16,200. This is considered the peak combination in all Grow a Garden mutation strategy guides.

What is the difference between mutation tiers in Grow a Garden?

Mutation tiers in Grow a Garden represent ranges of Sheckle multiplier values. S-Tier (120x+) mutations produce 6× more Sheckles per crop than B-Tier mutations (20–49x). A-Tier mutations (50–119x) sit at the mid-range, offering strong returns without requiring the rarest crop drops. The difference matters most for trade negotiations: an S-Tier mutated crop is worth multiple A-Tier mutated crops of equal base value.
