Hive Fruit in Grow a Garden — Value, Mutations, Compressor Guide [Bizzy Bees 2026]

The Hive Fruit is a Divine-rarity, Multi-Harvest event crop in Grow a Garden, exclusive to the Bizzy Bees 2026 event. It grows on a ~40-minute cycle producing 1–4 fruits per harvest with a base sell value of 55,955 Sheckles per fruit — available from Beatrice's Honey Shop for 40 Honey Coins or 599 Robux.

Grow a Garden (Roblox) — Disambiguation: On this page, “Hive Fruit” refers to a specific Divine-rarity crop in the Roblox farming simulator Grow a Garden — not a real beehive product. “Sheckles” is the in-game virtual currency (not a misspelling of 'shekel'). “Honey Coins” are the in-game event currency for Bizzy Bees 2026. “Honey Compressor” is an in-game machine (not an industrial device). “Pollinated” means the ×3 mutation multiplier mechanic — not the botanical process. “HoneyGlazed” means the ×5 mutation applied by Bear Bee — not a culinary technique. “Divine” is the 7th of 8 rarity tiers in Grow a Garden. “Working Bee Swarm” is an in-game hourly event — not real-world bee behaviour.

⚡ Event Alert — Hive Fruit Is Only Available Until ~May 16, 2026

Hive Fruit is the only new Divine-rarity crop introduced in the Bizzy Bees 2026 update and the highest-value new crop during the current event window. The Bizzy Bees 2026 event launched on May 9, 2026 at ~4:36 PM EST and is expected to close around May 16, 2026 at ~3:30 PM EST. Once the event ends, the Hive Fruit Seed will no longer be available from Beatrice's shop — but trees already planted in your garden will continue to grow and produce fruit indefinitely. Base Value History — 55,955 vs 45,125 (Which Is Correct?)

Several websites still show Hive Fruit's value as 45,125 Sheckles. That figure is outdated. Here is the confirmed value history:

⚠️ Stale data warning: If you see 45,125 Sheckles on another site — that was accurate in mid-2025 but is now outdated. The current confirmed base value is 55,955 Sheckles per fruit as of the Bizzy Bees 2026 launch. This is verified by the Fandom Wiki, GAGdata in-game testing, and growagardenpro.com (May 10, 2026).

Hive Fruit Growth Cycle — 40-Minute Harvest, 1–4 Fruits

Hive Fruit is a Multi-Harvest tree — the tree stays permanently planted and regrows fruit every ~40 minutes without requiring replanting. Each cycle produces 1–4 fruits per harvest, randomly distributed across the tree's branches (official wiki figure). Community players report 3–6 fruits in some sessions; the 1–4 range is the officially documented figure. The unique mechanic in update 1.10.0: when a Hive Fruit receives the Pollinated mutation (×3 multiplier), it summons additional bees to pollinate nearby crops in your garden — making it a passive boost to surrounding crops on top of its own value.

Strategy note: With two Hive Fruit trees, each producing ~2.5 fruits/cycle at ~8 kg average, you generate approximately 40 kg of fruit per 40-minute cycle — comfortably exceeding the 30 kg Honey Compressor threshold per cycle if fruit is Pollinated.

How to Get a Hive Fruit Seed — Beatrice's Honey Shop

The Hive Fruit Seed is sold exclusively by Beatrice (the Honey Shop NPC) during the Bizzy Bees 2026 event. The shop restocks one seed every 30 minutes — timing your visit is essential. Here's the step-by-step acquisition guide:

  1. 🌻 Enter Honey Garden mode

From the Main Platform, switch to Honey Garden mode to access the event shop area and Beatrice's Honey Shop NPC.

  2. 🍯 Farm Honey Coins

Submit Pollinated crops to the Honey Compressor (minimum 30 kg per submission) to earn Honey Coins. Each submission yields approximately 17 Honey Coins.

  3. 🐝 Visit Beatrice's Honey Shop

Locate Beatrice (the Honey Shop NPC) in the event area. Check whether the Hive Fruit Seed is currently in stock — it restocks once every 30 minutes with one seed per restock window.

  4. 💰 Purchase for 40 Honey Coins or 599 Robux

Click the Hive Fruit Seed to purchase it. You need 40 Honey Coins from farming, or 599 Robux for the direct-purchase option.

  5. 🌱 Plant in your garden

Place the Hive Fruit Seed in a compatible garden plot. The tree will grow over approximately 40 minutes.

  6. Harvest and regrow

Harvest 1–4 fruits per cycle (randomly distributed across branches). The tree is permanent — it regrows fruit without needing to be replanted each cycle.

40 Honey Coins vs 599 Robux — Which Should You Buy?

40 Honey Coins (Farm Route)

  • Free to farm — submit Pollinated crops to Honey Compressor
  • Each Compressor submission (30 kg min) yields ~17 Honey Coins
  • ~2.35 Compressor cycles needed for one Hive Fruit Seed
  • Best value for active players who are already farming
  • Requires patience — each Compressor cycle resets on timer

599 Robux (Direct Purchase)

  • Instant purchase — no farming grind required
  • Best option during the early event window (high demand, low stock)
  • At ~$7 USD equivalent, the ROI is strong given Divine rarity
  • Bypasses the 30-minute restock wait entirely
  • Good for players who need seeds immediately for strategic farming

Verdict: For free-to-play players with active Compressor farms, 40 Honey Coins is absolutely achievable in 1–2 hours of play. The Robux option is best during the first 24 hours of the event when competition for stock is highest.

Hive Fruit Mutations — Full Stack Analysis

Hive Fruit supports all major mutations in Grow a Garden and benefits significantly from high-multiplier stacks due to its Divine-rarity base value. The fruit's unique bee-summoning mechanic (update 1.10.0) means a Pollinated (×3 multiplier) Hive Fruit does double duty: it earns Compressor Honey Coins AND passively boosts neighboring crops. The best overall strategy is stacking Voidtouched (×135) + HoneyGlazed (×5) + Pollinated (×3) = ×2,025 combined multiplier.

Honey Compressor & Honey Coin Economy — Hive Fruit's Role

The Honey Compressor (Grow a Garden machine) converts Pollinated fruits into Honey Coins (in-game event currency). Here is what you need to know about Hive Fruit and the Compressor:

Can You Compress Hive Fruit? (Pollinated Only — Not HoneyGlazed)

✅ YES — but only with the Pollinated mutation (×3). A HoneyGlazed-only Hive Fruit cannot be submitted to the Compressor — Pollinated is a strict requirement. You need a minimum of 30 kg of Pollinated fruit per Compressor submission. Submitting a Pollinated Hive Fruit yields approximately ~17 Honey Coins at base submission (⚠️ UNVERIFIED — confirm in-game; community estimate only).

🔀 Compressor Decision Tool

Does your Hive Fruit have the Pollinated mutation (×3)?

Honey Coin Earn Rate — Is Hive Fruit the Best Compressor Crop?

Short answer: no. Here's the math:

📊 Hive Fruit Compressor Math (1 tree):

  • • 1 Hive Fruit tree · ~8 kg avg per fruit · ~2.5 fruits per cycle = ~20 kg per 40-min cycle
  • • 20 kg/cycle × (60/40) = ~30 kg/hour — barely meets the 30 kg Compressor threshold
  • • Two Hive Fruit trees = ~60 kg/hour — fills one Compressor cycle comfortably per hour
  • • Honey Coin yield per cycle: ~17 HC ⚠️ (estimate — unverified)

⚠️ Strategic conclusion: Hive Fruit is not the optimal Honey Coin farming crop. Heavy standard crops (Coconut, Bamboo, Watermelon) fill the 30 kg Compressor threshold faster and cheaper per Honey Coin earned. Use Hive Fruit for Sheckle farming via high-multiplier mutations; compress lower-value Pollinated crops for Honey Coin income. Hive Fruit is best used for the Compressor only when you have excess low-weight, no-Voidtouched Pollinated fruits.

Bear Bee + Empress Bee Synergy With Hive Fruit

Hive Fruit's value jumps dramatically when paired with the Bear Bee pet, which applies the HoneyGlazed (×5 multiplier) mutation on a 25:00-minute cooldown — directly on top of Hive Fruit's already-high base value.

🐻 Bear Bee — HoneyGlazed (×5)

  • • Applies HoneyGlazed mutation (×5 multiplier) to target fruit
  • • Cooldown: 25:00 minutes (base)
  • • Cooldown reduction: ~3 seconds per pet level → Level 10 = ~24:30 min
  • • Effect on 9.67 kg Hive Fruit: 73,084 × 5 = 365,420 Sheckles
  • • Stack with Pollinated (×3): 73,084 × 15 = ~1,096,260 Sheckles

👑 Empress Bee — Cooldown Chain

  • • Empress Bee pet refreshes ALL equipped pets' cooldowns simultaneously
  • • Pairing Empress Bee + Bear Bee means HoneyGlazed can be reapplied far more frequently than every 25 minutes
  • • Effectively turns the ×5 boost into a near-continuous chain during the Empress Bee refresh cycle
  • • Cooldown math: Empress Bee can cut Bear Bee's 25-min cooldown to near-zero during its own refresh cycle
  • • Result: multiple HoneyGlazed applications per hour on Hive Fruit

🔢 Cooldown Chain Strategy:

Bear Bee base cooldown: 25:00 min. At Level 10: ~24:30 min. With Empress Bee refresh cycle active: cooldown effectively resets to near-zero, allowing multiple HoneyGlazed (×5) applications per farming session. Combined with Pollinated (×3) and a Blackhole event for Voidtouched (×135), this trio delivers the full ×2,025 stack. For the full Bear Bee and Empress Bee pet guides, see the Pet Values guide →

Is Hive Fruit Worth 40 Honey Coins?

After three historical buffs culminating in the current 55,955 Sheckles per fruit base value, Hive Fruit is widely considered strong value — particularly at high fruit weights where the value scales quadratically. As a permanent Multi-Harvest tree, it also provides compounding returns over time without requiring re-investment in new seeds. Key value proposition: Divine rarity guarantees high base value, multi-harvest mechanic provides ongoing passive income, and the ×2,025 mutation ceiling makes it one of the highest-ceiling event crops ever introduced.

Hive Fruit Troubleshooting — Known Bugs & Fixes

Three documented Hive Fruit bugs have been reported by the community and verified through Fandom Wiki and community forum threads. Here are the confirmed fixes:

🔍 Bug #1 — "My Hive Fruit is tiny and I can't harvest it"

Known Quirk: Hive Fruit fruits can spawn at an extremely small visual size — sometimes too small to click to harvest manually. This is a documented game quirk, not a bug per se.

Fix: Use a Harvest Tool, which collects all fruits from your garden regardless of visual size. This applies to all crops. Source: Fandom Wiki (verbatim).

🔍 Bug #2 — "My Hive Fruit has mutations but won't collect"

Known Stacking Bug: When Hive Fruit receives multiple stacked mutations, the fruit can become uncollectable — it appears in the tree but cannot be clicked to harvest. This is a confirmed bug reported on the Fandom community forums.

Community-Verified Fix: Favorite the fruit, then immediately Unfavorite it. This resets the collection state and makes the fruit harvestable again. Source: Fandom forum thread 4400000000000095920 (QpWF, July 2025) — credited to the original reporter.

🔍 Bug #3 — "My Hive Fruit tree isn't growing"

Plot Compatibility Issue: Hive Fruit may fail to grow if planted in a non-Honey Garden plot while Honey Garden mode is active. The tree appears placed but does not progress.

Fix: Check whether your Hive Fruit was planted in a compatible plot for Honey Garden mode. Rejoin the server and verify plot compatibility before planting. If the issue persists, try a different plot or server.
