Radiant is a pet mutation. Every outside guide that names it lists the same thing: a mutation you put on a pet, not a multiplier you get on a crop. A Radiant pet makes the plants around it grow faster. It does not raise the Sheckle value of a fruit.

Radiant Mutation Effect: What a Radiant Pet Does

A Radiant pet emits sunshine at a random nearby plant. That plant grows 24 hours in one step. The pulse repeats every 20 to 30 minutes while the pet is out. GAGdata pet data rates it tier B and says it helps most with slow growing crops.

How to Get the Radiant Mutation

Need to reach level 50 first? Use the pet leveling guide and the pet XP calculator. One guide says the machine can overwrite a mutation the pet already has, so check before you risk a good one.

Radiant Mutation Cost and Odds

The machine charges a fee for each attempt, whatever the result. Radiant lands 3.22% of the time, so the average is about 31 attempts. At 500 million Sheckles an attempt that is about 15.5 billion Sheckles. At 1 billion it is about 31.1 billion. A single attempt takes about 60 minutes.
