Starfruit Grow a Garden: Legendary Crop Stats & Value

Starfruit is a Legendary multi-harvest crop in Grow a Garden, the Roblox farming game. It comes from the Night Seed Pack with a 15.5% drop rate and has no regular shop price. Guides split on the base value, giving 13,538 or 15,000 Sheckles per fruit, so we mark it as a conflict.
Starfruit Stats in Grow a Garden
Starfruit sits in the Legendary tier. It was added with the Lunar Glow update and is part of the Night Seed Pack set. You can browse the tier on the Legendary crops guide, and compare every crop on the crop values list.

Why Some GAGdata Lists Show Starfruit as Rare
Older GAGdata data listed Starfruit as a Rare crop with a base value of 650 Sheckles, a 900 Sheckle seed and a 20 second growth time. On October 30, 2026 we checked six outside guides. All six list Starfruit as Legendary, and none shows those Rare figures. This page follows the guides, and we have flagged the older lists for an update.
Starfruit the Crop vs the Real Fruit
Starfruit is also a real tropical fruit, sometimes called carambola. This page is about the Grow a Garden Starfruit crop only. Growing tips for the real tree do not apply to the game.
How to Get Starfruit Seeds in Grow a Garden
To grow Starfruit from seed, you first need the seed, and you cannot buy it in the regular seed shop. It drops from the Night Seed Pack. Guides tie the crop to the Lunar Glow Event, and two guides say it is not obtainable right now. Follow these steps in order if the packs are available to you.
- Check that the Lunar Glow Event or Night Seed Pack shop is available. Starfruit seeds come from Night Seed Packs. Guides tie the crop to the Lunar Glow Event, and two guides say it is not obtainable now. Check your event menu and shop first. The current schedule is PENDING.
- Earn or buy Night Seed Packs. Earn packs on the Lunar Glow reward track with Lunar Points. Two guides also list Premium Night Seed Packs at 199 Robux each, or 1,990 Robux for ten.
- Open the pack and look for the Starfruit seed. Each Night Seed Pack has a 15.5% chance to give Starfruit. Glowshroom, Mint, Moonflower, Moonglow, Moon Blossom and Nightshade can also drop.
- Plant it once and collect fruit. Starfruit is a multi-harvest crop, so one plant keeps producing fruit after a harvest. Guides give 8 or 10 minutes to grow the first time. Time your own plant.
- Check the value before you sell. Weigh the fruit and test it in the Crop Value Calculator. A mutated Starfruit can be worth many times the base value.
Pack Odds
Beebom, Sportskeeda and Gamertweak list a 15.5% chance of Starfruit in the Night Seed Pack. That is the fourth most common drop after Glowshroom (30%), Mint (22%) and Moonflower (18%). One pack can still miss, so plan for several.
Is Starfruit Worth Growing? Value and Mutations
A Starfruit fruit has a base value of 13,538 or 15,000 Sheckles in the two guides that print an exact figure. Other guides say about 11,500, or a range of 10,000 to 20,000. Because it is multi-harvest, one plant gives you that value again and again without a new seed. There is no shop price, so we cannot give a payback count. Your cost is the Night Seed Packs you spend to get the seed.
Mutations matter more than the base value. A Shocked fruit at 100× is worth 1,353,800 to 1,500,000 Sheckles. Use the Crop Value Calculator to test your own fruit weight, because the real value changes with weight.

Starfruit Mutations: Worked Examples
No guide lists a Starfruit-only mutation, so these are worked examples. A Rainbow Starfruit at 50× is worth 676,900 to 750,000 Sheckles, and a Shocked one at 100× is worth 1,353,800 to 1,500,000. Both ranges use the two guide base values at base weight.

Starfruit vs Other Night Seed Pack Crops
Starfruit shares its pack with six other crops. Rarity, harvest type and drop rate come from Beebom. Sell prices are left out because the guides use different units. Starfruit is the only Legendary crop in the pack.

Moon Blossom is the rarest listed drop at 2.5% and is Divine. Starfruit drops about six times as often as Moon Blossom, and it is the only Legendary pick in the pack.

A Starfruit plant is a long-term plant. Plan the plot first, then plant once and keep it healthy.
Before You Plant
- Pick a plot you will not need to clear, because the plant stays in place.
- Open your Night Seed Packs when you have a free plot, so you can plant the seed right away.
- Compare it with other top-tier seeds on the Legendary crops guide.
After You Plant
- Note the real growth and regrow times and send us a correction if they differ from the guides.
- Harvest during mutation weather such as rainbow weather or a thunderstorm.
- Run the numbers in the calculator before you sell a mutated fruit.
