Persimmon Stats and Rarity: What Legendary Means

Persimmon is a Legendary crop in Grow a Garden. Legendary sits above Epic and below Mythical in the rarity order. You can browse the full tier on the Legendary crops list, and compare every crop on the crop values list.

Some older GAGdata data files list Persimmon as an Uncommon crop with a very low base value and a seed price. Pocket Tactics, Noleep, Guidebros and Growagardenpro checked on October 28, 2026 all list it as Legendary, and none lists a seed price. This page uses Legendary, and the old values are not used here.

Is Persimmon Single-Harvest or Multi-Harvest?

Harvest type is ⚠️ PENDING. Noleep, Ofzenandcomputing and Beebom list Persimmon as multi-harvest. Guidebros and Growagardenpro list it as single-harvest. We have not checked it in game. Until we confirm the harvest type, treat it as PENDING.

How to Get Persimmon Seeds in Grow a Garden

1. Get a Nutty Chest or a Rainbow Sack. Persimmon seeds drop from Nutty Chests, Exotic Nutty Chests and Rainbow Sacks. Nutty Chests come from the Chubby Chipmunk event. How you earn them can change, so check your inventory and the event menu.
2. Open the chest and look for Persimmon. Open the chest and check the rewards for a Persimmon seed. Guides report 14.5% from either chest type and 15% from the Rainbow Sack, so you may need several.
3. Plant the seed and check the harvest. Plant the seed in your garden. Harvest type is PENDING. After the first pick, see whether the plant grows new fruit. If it does, it is multi-harvest.
4. Let the fruit mutate before you sell. Wait for a mutation weather event when you can, then check the fruit value in the Crop Value Calculator before you sell.

Where the Seed Comes From

Noleep, Ofzenandcomputing, Guidebros and Growagardenpro list the Nutty Chest, the Exotic Nutty Chest and the Rainbow Sack. Pocket Tactics names the Nutty Chest only. The Chubby Chipmunk event added Persimmon on October 4, 2025. Ofzenandcomputing says Exotic Nutty Chests are bought with Robux. No guide gives a price for the seed, so seed price is ⚠️ PENDING.

Is Persimmon Still Available?

Current availability is ⚠️ PENDING. Noleep says the seed stays obtainable after the Chubby Chipmunk event ends. Growagardenpro calls it a limited crop. We found no 2026 source that confirms the chest status. Check your in-game chests before you plan around this seed. GAGdata will update this section once we confirm it in game.

Is Persimmon Worth Growing? Value and Mutations

We cannot give a confirmed Persimmon value yet. Guides report different average values, and no figure is backed by every source. A wrong number here would give you a wrong plan, so base value shows as ⚠️ PENDING until we verify it in game.
