Beet Grow a Garden: Crop Stats, Value & Evo Beetroot

By Sam Rivers · Crops Specialist · Updated

Beet is a Common crop in the GAGdata crop database for Grow a Garden, the Roblox farming game. No outside guide we checked lists a plain Beet crop, so every Beet stat here is marked unverified. Evo Beetroot, a different crop, is listed by outside guides.

Beet Stats in Grow a Garden: What the Data Shows

Beet is listed as a Common crop in GAGdata data. Common is the lowest rarity tier in the game. You can browse the tier on the Common crops list, and compare every crop on the crop values list.

Three GAGdata sources disagree on Beet. The values list shows a base value of 18 Sheckles per kg. The Crop Value Calculator shows 44. The data behind the Common crops list shows 14, with a 7 minute growth time and a 20 Sheckle seed. All three come from our own data, and no outside guide confirms any of them. This page uses the values list. Treat every number below as a working figure.

Is Beet a Real Crop? What We Checked

On October 30, 2026 we checked the Growagardencalculator.io value pages, the Growagardencalculator.com plant wiki and the rblxguide.com crop pages. They list the Evo Beetroot line, from Evo Beetroot I to IV. None of them lists a plain Beet crop. Until a second source or an in-game check confirms Beet, treat every number here as a working figure.

Beet vs Evo Beetroot and Beetle Pets

Beet is a crop in Grow a Garden that only GAGdata lists. Evo Beetroot is a separate crop in the Evo plant line, and outside guides list it as Common. Beetle pets are a different topic and do not describe the Beet crop.

Things in Grow a Garden searches that look like Beet
NameTypeWhat it is
BeetCrop (site data)The crop on this page. Listed by GAGdata only, so every stat is unverified.
Evo BeetrootCrop (Evo line)Listed by outside guides in the Evo plant line, with Evo 1 to Evo 4 stages. Two guides call it Common. Their price and value figures conflict, so GAGdata gives none.
Beetle petsPetsA different topic. Searches for beetle pets do not describe the Beet crop. Pet facts belong on the pet pages.

What Evo Beetroot Is

Outside guides list Evo Beetroot as part of the Evo plant line. Growagardencalculator.io and rblxguide.com both call it Common and say it is bought in the Tier I seed shop. The guides do not agree on its price or value. One shows a seed cost of 100,000 Sheckles plus 99 Robux, and another shows a different base value. This page gives no Evo Beetroot figure.

The same is true of Beet in reverse. Evo Beetroot is confirmed to exist, and Beet is not. If you want a plain Beet, check your seed shop. If you are looking for pet facts, open the pet values page.

How to Get Beet Seeds in Grow a Garden

GAGdata data lists the Beet seed at 24 Sheckles, available all the time. Because no outside guide lists it, your own seed shop is the real test. Follow these steps in order.

  1. Open the seed shop and look for Beet. GAGdata data lists Beet at 24 Sheckles. No outside guide confirms it, so open your in-game seed shop and check whether a Beet seed is on sale.
  2. Check your Sheckles. If you see a Beet seed, make sure you hold at least 24 Sheckles before you buy it. If the seed is not in your shop, Beet is not available to you.
  3. Plant it in Normal Soil. GAGdata data lists Normal Soil for Beet. Plant the seed, then wait for it to grow. The listed growth time is 3 minutes, and that figure is unverified.
  4. Check the value before you sell. Wait for a rainbow weather event if you can. Then test the fruit in the Crop Value Calculator before you sell.

Is Beet Worth Growing? Value and ROI

Take the data at face value for a moment. A 24 Sheckle seed and an 18 Sheckles per kg base value mean one Beet of 1.33 kg or more pays back the seed. That is the break-even weight with no mutation. The weight of a Beet fruit is ⚠️ PENDING, so we cannot say how often you reach it.

A Rainbow mutation changes the picture. At the same unverified base value, a Rainbow Beet is worth 900 Sheckles per kg. The final value of any fruit is base value times the mutation multiplier. Use the Crop Value Calculator to test your own numbers, and remember that it shows 44 for the base value.

Common crops have the lowest base values in the game, so a Beet earns little unless it is mutated. Compare it with other crops on the crop values list before you give it a plot.

Beet Mutations: Rainbow and Gold

Rainbow is the mutation listed for Beet, at a 50× multiplier. At the unverified base value of 18 Sheckles per kg, a Rainbow Beet is worth 900 Sheckles per kg. Gold, at 20×, works on any crop but is not on the Beet data row.

Read the Rainbow mutation guide and the Gold mutation guide for trigger details. The Mutation Calculator shows how mutations stack.

Beet Farming Strategy

Start with what you can check yourself. Look in your seed shop, buy one seed and test one plant. Do not build a farm around Beet until you have seen the seed in game.

Before You Plant

  • Check that the Beet seed is on sale in your shop.
  • Buy one seed, not a stack, until the sell value is confirmed.
  • Compare it with other crops on the Common crops list.

After You Plant

  • Note the real growth time and fruit weight, and send us a correction if they differ.
  • Watch for rainbow weather, because it brings the Rainbow mutation.
  • Run the numbers in the calculator before you sell a mutated fruit.

To see every crop and its value, use the crop values list.

Beet Data Status: Confirmed and PENDING

GAGdata marks a number as confirmed only when two sources agree. We checked the Growagardencalculator.io value pages, the Growagardencalculator.com plant wiki, the rblxguide.com crop pages and the GAGdata data files on October 30, 2026. Anything else stays PENDING.

Beet FAQ

1

What rarity is Beet in Grow a Garden?

Beet is listed as a Common crop in the GAGdata crop database. No outside guide we checked on October 30, 2026 lists a plain Beet crop, so that rarity is unverified. Evo Beetroot is a separate crop in the Evo line, and outside guides also call it Common.

2

Is Beet the same as Evo Beetroot?

Beet is not the same as Evo Beetroot. Evo Beetroot is part of the Evo plant line that outside guides list, and it has its own stages and prices. Those guides disagree on its figures, so GAGdata gives none. Check the full crop name before you compare values.

3

How much does the Beet seed cost?

Beet seed cost is 24 Sheckles in the GAGdata crop database. That figure is unverified, because no outside guide lists a plain Beet seed in the shop. Check your in-game seed shop first. If Beet is not on sale there, the seed is not available to you.

4

How much is Beet worth in Grow a Garden?

Beet has a base value of 18 Sheckles per kg on the GAGdata values list. The Crop Value Calculator shows 44, and no outside guide confirms either number, so treat both as unverified. A Rainbow mutation multiplies the base value by 50.

5

How long does Beet take to grow?

Beet growth time is 3 minutes on the GAGdata values list. That figure is unverified, because no outside guide lists a plain Beet crop, and another GAGdata page shows 7 minutes. Whether Beet gives one harvest or many is PENDING until we confirm it in game.

6

What mutations can Beet get?

Beet lists Rainbow in the GAGdata data, and Rainbow is a 50× multiplier. At the unverified 18 base value, that makes 900 Sheckles per kg. Gold is a general 20× mutation that works on any crop, but it is not on the Beet data row.

7

Is Beet a pet like the beetle pets people search for?

Beet is a crop, not a pet. Searches for beetle pets such as stag beetle or rhino beetle are about a different topic and do not describe this crop. Open the pet values page for pet facts. Beet and Evo Beetroot are also separate crops.

8

What soil does Beet need?

Beet is listed with Normal Soil in the GAGdata crop database. That detail is unverified, because no outside guide lists a plain Beet crop. Normal Soil is the default soil, so you should not need a special soil item. Test one plant first if you want to be sure.

9

Is Beet available all year in Grow a Garden?

Beet is marked Always available in the GAGdata crop database, which means it is not tied to an event. That is unverified. No outside guide lists a plain Beet crop, so check your in-game seed shop before you plan around it. GAGdata will update this answer once we confirm it.
