Acorn Squash and Acorn Are Different Seeds
Acorn is a separate seed from the same update. It drops from the Nutty Chest, while Acorn Squash comes from the Chubby Chipmunk reward track. Beebom lists them as two seeds with their own source and price. This page covers Acorn Squash only.
Why Older GAGdata Data Said Common
Some older GAGdata data files list Acorn Squash as a Common crop with a very low base value and a cheap seed. Sportskeeda, GuideBros, Roblotrade and findingDulcinea checked on October 28, 2026 all list it as Uncommon, and none gives a shop price. This page uses the guide figures, and the old values are not used here. Until we confirm the growth time in game, treat it as PENDING.
How to Get Acorn Squash Seeds in Grow a Garden
Acorn Squash seeds came from the Chubby Chipmunk reward track in October 2025. Feed your Chubby Chipmunk until it reaches 5.88 kg, then claim one Acorn Squash seed from the event island. The event ran from October 4 to October 11, 2025, so current availability is PENDING.
- Feed your Chubby Chipmunk. Join the Chubby Chipmunk event and feed your Chubby Chipmunk with crops. Its weight rises with each feed and opens the reward track.
- Reach 5.88 kg. The Acorn Squash reward arrives when your Chubby Chipmunk reaches 5.88 kg. The next rewards sit at higher weights.
- Claim the seed on the event island. Claim one Acorn Squash seed from the event island once the weight is reached. Check your inventory afterward.
- Plant it and harvest more than once. Acorn Squash is a multi-harvest crop. Pick the ripe fruit and leave the plant in place so it can grow the next batch.
The Chubby Chipmunk Reward Track
Beebom, Sportskeeda, Pocket Tactics and GamePressure all place Acorn Squash on the Chubby Chipmunk reward track. Pocket Tactics lists it as “5.88 kg: 1x Acorn Squash”, and Sportskeeda says you claim it from the event island. The event started on October 4, 2025 and ran to October 11, 2025. The Persimmon seed came from the same update, but through the Nutty Chest.
Can You Still Get Acorn Squash?
Current availability is ⚠️ PENDING. Sportskeeda says the event ended on October 11, 2025. GuideBros says the seed may come back in event reruns, and Roblotrade still marks it as available.
